⭐ INSTALLATION ⭐
📽️ Video here: https://youtu.be/uqZO3OuBbE4
Use the installation video above and written instructions to complete the install. These items are shipped in a roll to prevent damage while in transit. When you unroll them the vinyl may become gently separated from the backing paper. This is okay. Do not hard crease the vinyl. Keep it in a clean location until you are ready to install it. The packing paper will be discarded post installation.
You will want to do this in 75-85 degree weather ideally. Since this install is being done inside the cabin, you can adjust temperature accordingly. Allow the vehicle to cool or warm to this temperature for a few minutes.
Recommended items:
- This Kit
- Detailer spray to prep the area (without wax)
- Alcohol wipe
- Heat gun or hair dryer
- Soapy water (1 drop of dish soap with 1 cup of water)
- Soft edge squeegee
- Optional 3M promoter pen
Make sure the surface is clean. Prep with alcohol pad if needed. Use a wet install if you do not have a lot of experience. Align pieces and press down firmly. Work slow to prevent creasing. For wet installs, slowly and carefully push out the water with your fingers. Ideal to have a soft edge squeegee around.
The adhesive reacts to PRESSSURE and HEAT.
