ā INSTALLATION ā
Ideal tape application temperature range is 70Ā°F to 100Ā°F (21Ā°C to 38Ā°C). Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50Ā°F (10Ā°C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory. The bond strength of 3Mā¢ Adhesive 300LSE increases over time and temperature. At room temperature, 50% of the ultimate strength is achieved after 20 minutes, 90% after 24 hours, and 100% after 72 hours.
Clean the application area to prepare it for installation. Make sure that they surface is dry before moving on. Remove the backing of the 3M and press firmly. Finally remove the protective plastic on the front.
